Final check
The Ice Festival Committee meet with Sam Walton of Signature Professional Group, for a final planning session at E.G.
Nick's restaurant. The 11-member group hired Walton three years ago when the economic climate threatened the festival
hoping to bring new life and direction into the event. Walton was pleased to tell them that this year, the event features more
than 100 sculptures and may draw as many as 100,000 visitors to the community. Officers of the board include President
Ron Loiselle, Vice-president Steve Alexandrowski and Treasurer Nancy Ball. Board members include Rex Tubbs, Ed
Hingelberg, Rob Parent, Pat Pulkownik, Tim Patino, Dave Sanctorum, Frank Agostini and Jim Grutza.
