There were 32 entries in the annual
parade last year, and from those, judges
chose four towin $100 cashprizes.
This year, the Rotary Club has added two
categories and there will be six top prizes of
$100 for the best entries in the parade
planned for Sept. 20. Organizers said they
expect the number of entries to double this
year, thanks to the tireless efforts of volun-
teers.
The parade route begins at Goddard and
WayneRoad and travels toFive Points, locat-
ed at Grant andHuronRiverDrive.
Winners last year were Jackson's
Pumpkin Mobile in the motorized float cate-
gory; the Cruiser Club in the non-motorized
float category, the Romulus Athletic Club
entry in the commercial float division and
the Marching Band/Flag Corps in the school
category.

able at Romulusrotaryclub.com.
