Plymouth knows how to party.
That's been proven during the past
few years in the parking lot behindE.G.
Nick's restaurant on Forest Street
where owners Frank Agostini and Tony
Belli have set up the huge party tent.
This year, the heated tent will once
again feature live entertainment both
Friday and Saturday nights to welcome
those who want to warmup with an ice
cold drink and enjoy some really cool
music, according toAgostini.
The heated tent, about 60 by 120
feet, will feature a bar serving beer,
Agostini said, but the real attraction is
the entertainment.
“We're still finalizing our Friday
night entertainment,” Agostini said, but
on Saturday night, we have the Duney
Bros, and they have a huge following.
“We had them at our Turkeypalooza
and the crowd really enjoyed them-
selves. They play a good mix of music,”
he said.
There is no cover charge this year,
Agostini said, and the tent is open to
anyone 21 or older looking to have a
great time and enjoy some live enter-
tainment in a nice environment.
“This is a way for us to add some-
thing to the festival,” he said.
“Plymouth is a great town, great peo-
ple, and we want to do what we can to
add to the event. This will be fun, being
outside but still warm. People need a
break about this time of year,” Agostini
said.
The tent will be installed in the
parking lot behind the restaurant and
fenced off to comply with all state
liquor regulations.
“We've never had a problem. We've
done the tent several times and the
crowds are always very well behaved
and cooperative. Just a nice crowd of
people who come to enjoy the music,”
he said. “We're also very considerate of
our neighbors and Signature
Professionals set up the sound system
so it stays where it should be and does-
n't bother anybody.”
The tent will only be open from 6
p.m.-midnight. on Friday and Saturday
nights.
