Great Lakes Tales and Lighthouse Ghost
Stories will be the topic of discussion with

Historical Museum at 7:30 tonight, Oct. 11.
Our shores and lakes attract stories of old
Indian legends, tales of wandering ghosts
from lost ships, sightings of ghost ships and
accounts of sea monsters. Lighthouses
seem to attract many a story of paranormal
activity. The presentation includes tales of
the Battle of Lake Erie in 1813; Belle Isle,
Detroit; Peche Island, Ontario; Erieland
Lighthouse, Pennsylvania; 1813 Battle of
Lake Erie, Ohio; St. Joseph Lighthouse
Depot, Michigan.
Lori Feret is an amateur photographer
with a penchant for lighthouses. She has
been visiting and photographing them for
about 20 years. She is an active member of
the Great Lakes Lighthousekeepers
Association.
