As people continue to read what they
want to read into whatever has been pub-
lished, we are always amazed at some of
their interpretations. They range from the
creatively defensive and the completely
disingenuous to the absolutely bizarre. In-
between are those who have a legitimate
concern about the possibility of misinterpre-
tation or our outright errors.
We can only remind all our readers, that
when one individual makes statements
about or criticizes another in a dispute and
we print that statement, we are not present-
ing it as fact or vouching for the credibility of
the utterance. What we are doing is report-
ing to the public about what one person has
said or alleged, and if possible, the response
or defense of those statements.
How the public interprets what they read,
or which of the statements they choose to
believe is, as always, amatter up to them.

Werth, who is rumored as a possible oppo-
nent of Reaume in the August election, obvi-
ously doesn't understand either.
If somebody as smart, as experienced in
municipal public safety and as respectful of
the responsibilities of elected officials as
Werth appears to be can't make sense of the
conduct of Plymouth Township officials, well,
aswe said, we're in good company.
